Who we are
Gently is operated by Lion Glow Pte. Ltd., Block 10, Level 14, 10 Sims Drive, Singapore. For anything about your privacy, or to make a request about your data, write to [email protected].
What we collect
What you put in: your nickname, avatar and chosen interests; your tasks with their titles, dates, tags and notes; your daily reviews and their ratings; focus sessions; the Spark cards you draw; and your settings. If you sign in, the provider you used, your display name and your email address. What the app records on its own: which screens you open and how long you stay, unless you turn Usage Analytics off. We do not collect your contacts, your location or your photos.
How we use it
To run the planner for you: to show your days, keep your tasks, build your insights, and send the task and focus reminders you switch on. To answer you when you write to the assistant. To keep the service working and to find faults. We do not use any of it for advertising, and we do not build profiles to sell.
Our legal bases
Where the GDPR applies: running the planner for you is performance of a contract (Article 6(1)(b)). Keeping the service secure and working is our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f)). Usage Analytics and Personal Reflections are consent, which you give and withdraw with the switches in Privacy & Data (Article 6(1)(a)).
Who else sees it
Amazon Web Services hosts the Planner service. OpenAI processes what you send to the assistant, and processes voice recordings to turn them into text; it does not use any of it to train models. Signing in involves Google or Apple, who confirm who you are; they never receive your planner records. That is the complete list — we do not share your data with anyone else, and we do not sell it or share it for cross-context advertising.
Where it is processed
Everything is processed in the United States. The Planner service runs on Amazon Web Services in Oregon, and OpenAI processes assistant and voice data in the United States. Your data is not stored in Singapore; Lion Glow is a Singapore company, but the records themselves never sit there.
How long we keep it
Six months from the day a record is created, after which it is deleted. You can export or delete your data at any time before then, from Privacy & Data, and deleting your account removes everything tied to it.
Your rights
If the GDPR applies to you: you may ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, ask us to restrict or stop a particular use, take your data elsewhere, and withdraw a consent you gave. You may also complain to your data protection authority. If you are in California: you may ask what we hold, ask us to delete or correct it, and opt out of sale or sharing — we do neither. Write to [email protected] and we will answer within the time the law allows.
Children
Gently is not for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect anything from them. If you believe a child has given us data, write to us and we will remove it.
Changes
If we change this policy we will change the date below and, when the change is significant, tell you in the app.
