Playing
Do I need an account?
No. There is no sign-up and no login. Open the app and play.
How do two people play on one phone?
In Face-Off, lay the phone flat between you; each player answers on their own half of the screen. In Call Your Shot, answer a question on your best topic, then pass the phone so the other player can try to match it. Solo Run is for one player against the clock. Each mode is explained in the app under Settings > How to Play.
Is there an Android or web version?
Not yet. Touché is iPhone only for now.
Touché Pro and billing
What is free, and what is in Pro?
Free players get one game in each mode every day, 10 Wiki cards a day, and three topics: Geography, History, and Movies & TV. Touché Pro unlocks unlimited games, every topic and the full Wiki.
How much is it?
Pro is a monthly subscription that renews automatically, or a one-time Lifetime purchase. Prices vary by country; the app and the App Store show the price for your region before you buy.
How do I cancel?
In the app, go to Settings > Touché Pro and tap Manage subscription. Or open the iPhone Settings app, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and choose Touché. Cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends to avoid the next charge; you keep Pro until the end of the period you have paid for.
I bought Lifetime but still have a monthly subscription.
Buying Lifetime does not stop the monthly plan. Cancel the subscription as above so you are not charged again.
How do I get a refund?
Payments are handled by Apple, so refunds are requested from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com under the App Store terms. We cannot issue one ourselves.
I reinstalled or got a new phone and lost Pro.
Tap Get Pro on the Battle screen, then Restore purchases. Pro comes back with the same Apple Account.
Notifications
What do you send?
Now and then, a fun fact, a new topic or a challenge for tonight — a couple a week at most, and only if you allowed notifications.
How do I turn them off, or back on?
In the app, Settings > Privacy > Notifications. If iOS has notifications switched off for Touché, turn them on in the iPhone Settings app first.
Your data
What do you collect?
No account, no name, and nothing you type. Usage statistics and error reports can be switched off in Settings > Privacy > Share usage statistics. See the Privacy Policy for the details.
How do I delete my data?
In the app, Settings > Data > Clear local data clears this device. To ask us to delete what our server holds, email us.
